Browse Our Collection by Species
Every specimen we offer is chosen the same way: in person, one piece at a time, with attention to crystal quality, condition, and the locality it came from. Species matters to collectors, but so does provenance. A fluorite from Elmwood is a different specimen than a fluorite from Rogerley, even when the species label reads the same.
The species pages below cover the material we handle most often and know best. Each one covers what makes the species worth collecting, which localities produce the pieces we look for, and what we examine when we decide whether a specimen is worth carrying.
If you collect a species you do not see here, contact us. We source specific material for collectors regularly and often have pieces available before they reach the website.
Amazonite and Smoky Quartz
Blue-green microcline paired with lustrous smoky quartz. The classic Colorado combination, and one of the most recognizable associations in American mineralogy.
Azurite and Malachite
Deep blue azurite alongside green malachite, the two copper carbonates that made the classic southwestern and Moroccan localities famous among collectors.
Fluorite
One of the most collected species in the world, valued for color range, crystal form, and fluorescence. We look for clean terminations, strong color, and well-documented localities.
